Tention Free : Please introduce yourself to the readers and how and when did you first get into Music Industry and how does your family support your music ?
My name is Vernon Little. I’m from the Bronx, NY. My start in the industry came about by me ending up at a local DJ’s (Joe Stick) apartment. He’s the one who first encouraged me to rap. He also had connections to get us into the studio. This took place back in 1985. My brother is my biggest supporter. He voluntarily promotes me.
Tention Free : Okay, How do you manage the time to deal with family and music ?
I believe that I give my family plenty of my time. If something I’m doing musically interferes with that time, I’ll invite them to come along.
Tention Free : Fine, everyone knows “The Chance To Tell You” is the song for which you are most known, but we want to know what were your intentions behind the song and its lyrics?
I’ve been trying to make it big in the music industry since 1986. I want to encourage people to continue pursing their dreams. Don’t give up. Learn, network, and grow. I hope I’m communicating that through my lyrics.
