Tention Free : Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education etc. ??
My background is in business, marketing and entertainment. I spent the last 25 years focusing on business in general. I worked with / for all kinds of companies from startups to Cheap Tickets and American Express. Recently I spent the last 5 years working for an upstart television network and learned more about entertainment. I found I have a passion for entertainment. I love the creativity of being able to bring stories to life, as well as the freedom to go from project to project. There’s never a dull moment in Hollywood.
Tention Free : How and when did you first get into this field?
I built my first website in 1994. Since then technology and the Internet were my primary focuses. Over time I advanced from just building new businesses to taking companies public and becoming the CEO of my own company.
Tention Free : What motivates you to do your best work as a CEO of X Roads TV?
I have always been an AP (Advanced Placement) student. I have never been satisfied with just the status quo. If I do something. I have to give it my all. When we initially founded X Roads TV I was determined to build a company that has staying power, integrity and will create jobs. I am interested in a company that will create exceptional content that will be around for generations to come.
Tention Free : Your company slogan?
X Roads TV is where ideas meet action. Too often so many of us have the most amazing ideas, but there are cemeteries full of billion dollar ideas. At X Roads we have the ability to take the ideas and actually develop them into real television shows and films we are able to license and syndicate to the major networks.
Tention Free : Great, “X Roads TV ” is a content aggregator can you please tell our readers more about it ?
Whether you’re an avid viewer of television, film or new media; chances are you’ve found yourself toying with an idea for a TV show. But what do you do with it? Who would you sell it to? There are numerous questions you may have as a content creator to monetize your idea. The good new is X ROADS TV Network is we are constantly developing new content to pitch to the major networks.
Tention Free : Are you an active radio host?
I am not currently an active radio host. I have hosted 5 different radio shows since 2009. X Roads TV is currently my primary focus.
Tention Free : How do manage the time to deal with family and work?
My children are 24 and 21 now. They live on their own and don’t require as much attention as they once did. This allows me the opportunity to work long hours and to make X Roads TV my primary focus.
Tention Free : As a founder of the X Roads TV what’s your aims ?
My aim is to create great television that is licensed by the major networks. I have the unique ability to look at just about any situation and see a story there. It doesn’t matter if it’s a local gym or your local pizzeria. There’s always a story there. Then to have those stories carried by the major networks is an amazing accomplishment.
Tention Free : Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?
Believe it or not in my free time I sleep. My schedule is always so hectic. I’m always on the go. Attending one event or another. Traveling to a set. Reading the trending news in entertainment, business and finance. Seeing what’s going on with all of the celebrities. Speaking at an engagement. When I can take a moment and get a good old fashioned nap in I’m in heaven.
Tention Free : Awesome, What are your future plans ? Your vision for the coming years.
My vision for the coming years is to continue to develop a reputation as a sought after content creator. I would love to be able to produce more projects and to build out the X Roads TV library. I would love to be able to open the doors to Hollywood to people who may never have an opportunity to have their content considered by the major networks and to continue to find ways to give back by sharing my knowledge, abilities and resources with the community.
