Tention Free : Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, etc. ??
I grew up in Lima, Perú, when I was 14, I started to play the guitar and created my own band, we made an album when I was 17, and then I was in various bands until I was 19. The most important band in Perú called me to be the singer/ songwriter. I was a rock star when I was 20, and 3 years after I decided to come to the US for a bigger dream.
I studied with many different vocal coaches, many guitar teachers, composition and harmony, and of course, my own personal experience on stage for at least 800 concerts in my life 😉
Tention Free : We heard been hearing a lot about you and your music, so we notice your you are starting to gain a lot of attention, how does it feel?
When you are honest with your art, and that energy grows, at that point it is intended to be, It feels extraordinary then it is meant to be, It feels great, especially when the people are asking you about the music. I passed through moments in my career that it was all about the look and the lifestyle. I felt empty when all the conversations with the people that I was working with, was only about making the ‘Hit” for the radio. That was the most terrible part of my music career. I stopped for many years because I was upset with myself for letting me end up in that situation. I lose control, and I crashed. But now I reinvented myself and I’m making 7 albums simultaneously, other than the one I just released.
Tention Free : Please tell us about your upcoming single / track ?
”Anything Wrong” is a breakup story. One of those breakups that happen for no substantial reason other than the fact that there is nothing else that can be done to salvage the relationship. We’ve all been there, feeling a certain numbness or discomfort in our core that stems from no apparent source. Oftentimes though, the problem simply resides inside the individual and not the relationship itself.
Tention Free : What motivates you to do your best work as a Singer / Songwriter ?
I think if you decide to create music, then it is about to explore and become better little by little, while you are having fun with the journey.
Tention Free : What are your future plans ? Your vision for the coming years.
My vision is to finish all my productions, I just finished the 1st album of the 8 albums that I am producing and all of a sudden, this album is having a lot of success! Let’s see what happens with the others. I am excited to share more music.
