Tention Free : Let’s talk a bit about you & your work and what is the secret behind your success ?
I’m british born. I have no family here in bahrain.
Just putting in the hours of work and networking.
Tention Free : What inspires your creativity ?
Boredom, i live in bahrain and on weekends it gets rather boring here. also the fact that all proceeds from my art work goes to help pay for my mothers bills. you see she is 86 and has alzheimer’s. i miss her alot, she lives in spain.
Tention Free : Please tell us more about Micronetics SPC, what’s the reason behind the creation of your company?
The company was created in 1958, family run. we were in the electron tube bushiness, but due to the new laws, its difficult to proceed in that line of work, so as here there are many opportunities for business here, we set up micronetics in 2007, to promote the worlds services and products into the middle east.

Its a platform which I set up as being an artist, I need to promote myself. I thought if I promote myself and a person might not like my art, but they might like someone else’s are, as if we promote a full website with many artists, then the same effort will not be wasted on only one artist. We did a case study and saw that there was a need for a site like this in Africa and Asia.
The site right now is free, free for one profile and free for one year.
We are introducing to the world, artist that no one knows about. also the fact that if an African can make money in his home town, he might not need to immigrate to another country to find work

Tention Free : What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?
Being able to move to another country like bahrain, where the people are so, so nice and friendly.
Tention Free : What are you working on now ?
We are building some new websites, to tell the world to come to bahrain, come and sell your products and services here. You see there are many advantages to come here. its always sunny. There is a free trade agreement with the usa.

My mummy, as well as honesty. helping people 2
