Gabrielle: Thank you so much for having me its an honor to be here.
Tention Free : Tell us a little about yourself. Your background,education,your passion for music etc?
Well I was born and raised in Ohio I’m 25 years old and married. I graduated from Youngstown Early College which is a high school that’s actually located on a college campus where we took high school and college classes in order to gain college credits. I’m actually enrolled in school now trying to obtain my real estate license. I love to travel. I love music always have been in love with it I come from a family that is musically talented so music just runs through my blood.
Tention Free : Please tell us more about your very first upcoming EP “Heartbreak”?
Heartbreak is very 1st EP that I have been working on for a few years it deals with pain, heartbreak, being in love some of it will make you think, some tracks will make you want to dance you basically get a little bit of everything. I wrote majority of the singles while my husband produced them so it was a very fun interesting experience.
Tention Free : What are some of your favorite ways to get over writer’s block?
I don’t know if I would say favorite but sometimes I’ll just listen to music or watch certain shows that deals with everyday life and situations we deal with and it helps me incorporate those situations into my lyrics.
Tention Free : If you could perform anywhere in the world where would it have to be?
If I could perform anywhere it would have to be Dominican Republic and Jamaica just because of the fact I LOVE tropical beach weather lol.
Tention Free : Who are some of your musical inspirations?
My musical aspirations are Aaliyah, Beyoncé, Alicia keys, Rihanna, usher, Michael Jackson, Mary J blige, Whitney Houston and so many others.
Tention Free : Whats your favorite genre?
My favorite genre is r&b, gospel and rap.
Tention Free : What are some of your biggest biggest biggest goals?
My biggest goals of course is to be successful in everything I do with my music and education. Encouraging people all over the world through music and making sure my family is taken care of.
Tention Free : Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to be a professional musician?
Some advice I would give is to always be true to yourself never give up, in this industry there will be some no’s but that doesn’t mean it’s the end keep pushing through always believe in yourself keep God 1st and make sure you have a good team behind you that will do right by you and everything else will fall in place.
