Tention Free : Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby ?
Michael Cushion Jr : I chose this industry as a career, with my mother being a DJ and father playing in a band growing up, Its all I know and it was destined for me to make a living in the music industry.

Tention Free : What’s your favourite music genre? Any particular reason ?
Michael Cushion Jr : I mostly like to listen to old school hip hop, I think mostly because its what I was brought up on, ya know.. Biggie, Eminem, Ma$e…
Tention Free : What motivates you to do your best work ?
Michael Cushion Jr : Being able to help another person succeed in life is what motivates me the most to do my best work. Theres a lot of talent and there are artists who deserve to be heard. I could be responsible for someones big break, so its only right I do my absolute best!
Tention Free : Who or what inspired you to get into this profession ?
Michael Cushion Jr : Growing up with my mother being a DJ and my father being in a band I was highly influenced by music as a child, in that time I wanted to be a musician, which worked out for a while, I started recording my own songs, and during the process I became infatuated with handling behind the scenes work, specifically Mixing and Mastering, it became my focus and I knew I had to turn it into something. 5 years later here I am.
Tention Free : What are your future plans ? Your vision for the coming years.
Michael Cushion Jr : My plan is to expand our professional team to take on larger work loads and be able to continue to provide excellent service we’re known for, I would also like to offer more services to help artists succeed in the music industry.
Tention Free : Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?
Michael Cushion Jr : In my spare time I like to just relax. I am also big on driving, I own cars including a super car and theres no better experience than freeing your mind with an exhilarating drive. Believe it or not but when Im not in the studio I hardly listen to music =P
