Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, passion etc. ??
I have my Masters in child and adolescent therapy and love helping people. I have a particular passion for teenagers. My teenage years were very difficult and I went to a dark place I am here to let every young person know you don’t ever have to be alone and there is always help.
US Mag: We been hearing a lot about you & your “OMI (Outreach Ministries Inc)” so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?
I thinks it’s GREAT we have been helping young people for over almost 20 years so to see people paying attention and wanting to get involved to Make a Difference is what makes all the hard work worth it.
Q : What motivates you to do your best work as a CEO & Founder of OMI?
If we can save one youth from Homicide or Suicide or just making wrong choices, I always say one wrong choice can affect you for the rest of your life. Helping stop that and bringing out the best in our youth using technology to solve social problems is what motivates me.
Q : What’s the plans for “National Youth Week”?
This will be our 20th anniversary so we are going big our goal is to get 20 states involved and we will have community service opportunities, like working in your local food bank, a STEM challenge to keep the innovation going and much more!!
Q : What’s your goal as a Manager in the Technology And Engineering space for AT&T you want to achieve next?
My goal every day is to help our people bring their best self to work and encourage being able to adapt to the changes that we as a Technology company face every day.
US Mag: How was your experience worked with the State of NJ as a therapist?
My experience was life changing I was a complete advocate for the teen I was working with and I saw them completely turn their lives around and finish college, have their own healthy families. I am a big believer that young people will rise to the challenge to be Amazing when given the opportunity.
Q : What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?
My corporate career I would say winning a 5 Million dollar contract from Verizon when I was in NYC and they were the main provider and then establishing that relationship with the customer. In my non profit work is the CASE app check out www.stateyourcase.us and that is helping young people identify if they have a problem with Conflict, Anger, or Self Esteem before it is too late.
