Well I wouldn’t say i’m necessarily ‘successful’, but this year i’m definitely trying to reach the level of success I dream about. Getting that one big single, touring, and just living off of music basically
Tention Free : Can you please tell our readers about your latest released project?
Sure! Well, I don’t have an official released project yet, but I do have this project called ‘SUMMERTIME 909s’ I like to call it ‘my letter to the summer’. This is a conceptualized 10 track mixtape about my life up until this point, from being broke, living around bad influences, and just finding my own path in life.
Tention Free : Any new project you have coming up?
SUMMERTIME 909s!! It’s coming out August 17th, I actually just dropped a single for it called ‘Phantom Jungle’
Tention Free : Please tell us more about your hip-hop music style?
Hmm, these days if I were to describe my style it would be laid back. Before I even started rapping I wrote poetry, so I’m not crazy about freestyling, but I could write a whole song in an hour or less if I really vibe with it.
Tention Free : Who are your musical inspirations?
I would say some musical inspirations for me would be Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Kanye West, and Kid Cudi. But going beyond rap I’m definitely influenced by a bunch of bands like NOFX, Sum 41, and Blink 182
Tention Free : Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to be a professional musician?
Haha I wish, but if I could tell anyone any advice it would be NOT to give up on your dream, especially if you do music. There’s something in music for everyone, that’s the magic of it.
Tention Free : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Before I used to want to get signed, but now I’d love to blow up and be a successful Indie artist that goes global. Music honestly saved me from the darkest places in my life and I’d love to help people with my songs like songs helped me
Tention Free : If you could perform anywhere, in the world, where would it have to be?
Japan!! No doubt about it!!
Tention Free : Please share with us your proudest moments?
I can’t remember any offhand, but I know that my proudest moment for sure will be when I can tell my friends and family I officially made it. So i’m hoping this project will be the push I need for that
