Tention Free : Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, your passion etc?
In addition to being a writer, I’m a voice over actor and musician/jingle composer. I sorta’ combine all those things into my channels. As for education, most of what we learn is irrelevant anyway. But life has presented many teachers to me, many who perhaps never get the credit they deserve.
Tention Free : We’ve been hearing a lot about you and your channel, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?
I don’t care. I’m not trying to be famous or anything. In fact, I’d rather not be. Once upon a time, sure, but I understand things differently now. That’s why I usually stay off camera. But I do see a lot of people sharing my blogs and videos all over the place. In fact, it seems like there’s more traffic for my stuff on other people’s pages than my own (laughs). So that part is cool. I inform myself then speak my mind and share the very unpopular truth about things, and so I’m very thankful whenever it’s appreciated and passed along.
Tention Free :Which type of news does “Dru Story News” mostly cover?
Everything. There isn’t a subject I don’t cover. Mostly I cover spirituality, sports, politics and celebrity scandals. Especially ones involving legal cases because it’s a forte. The people that found my channel when certain videos took off were stunned by all the facts and evidence presented that media outlets in the mainstream hid from people. Even people already fully aware of media bias and agendas still had no idea to what extent. We’re in a matrix. So, I continue to cover the news, but I tell people the truth with all the facts and details many other sources omit. Not conjecture or my opinion, the facts.
Tention Free : How do you go from sports to spirituality?
I feel you sometimes have to go where the people are in order to bring light there. Especially on YouTube, a lot of spiritually enlightened people cater to other spiritual or high vibrational audiences. That’s cool but that’s also like preaching to the choir to me. We’re connected and a lot of everyday people who may not be on a spiritual journey still need help or words of wisdom too. People are being pumped and programmed with garbage they regurgitate. Even good people. Some people are getting their news and information from very bad unenlightened entities disguised as authorities, so that has to be counterbalanced. I also like to drop truth in brainwashed places where they will probably attack me for it. Happens all the time. That’s what I’m here to do. I’m not here to just grandstand for praise and adoration. Lots of people don’t understand that they are being tricked and manipulated when it comes to many things. People are asleep and going along in systems that are exploiting them. So, my range of topics allows me to relate to a broader range of people.
Tention Free : What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?
Man, lots of things happened that were bittersweet. They once put one of my videos on TV. I was also interviewed once by a big news station, I won’t say who. But they didn’t air it because honestly, I knew they were working against my position and I think they quickly realized that putting someone like me on TV was a big mistake for the lies they were trying to protect (laughs). I honestly believe that the crew and interviewer liked me and didn’t want to go through with trying to make me look bad, which was probably the agenda. Regardless, I was the enemy of what they were trying to do so they probably figured giving me a huge platform to appeal to more people was a big mistake. Anyway, I think as soon as I started to get known I feel my channel was just as quickly sabotaged and drowned out, but seeing people still share videos or tell others to check the channel out is incredible.
Tention Free : What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?
My goal in life is to fulfill my life’s purpose and do what I came here to do. And that entails raising the collective vibration.
Tention Free : What motivates you to do your best work as a founder of “Dru Story News” ?
The truth. I’m a man obsessed with it. Mainly because it’s so nonexistent in popular opinion these days. It’s a crazy ride. You even lose friends. People try to argue with you all the time because people protect their delusions and the comfort of popular opinion. It’s just like “The Matrix”, people who are programmed and are part of the system get triggered and come against you. Some people start to hate you even. Some think everything they didn’t hear on the news is some stupid conspiracy theory, they think, someone solicited from the top is going to tell them these unsavory things or the truth. People really can’t handle the truth. But as you ruffle some feathers, many strangers from all walks of life that vibrate in truth start to love you.
Tention Free : Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?
It was always something I just did. I was a writer for my college paper. Then when I was a freelancer writer I also dabbled with blogging when it was a sorta’ new thing. I liked the freedom that came with blogging. When some blogs went viral, and I was being paid for it, I was hooked and it’s been something I’ve been passionately doing ever since. Things you love to do aren’t jobs.
Tention Free : Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?
Everybody does need time out, that’s why I’m working on that (laughs). I spend most my “free” time, whatever that is, reading up on things because that’s just what I like to do. I like to know what I’m talking about so when I share information I’m informed and it’s never conjecture.
