We recently interviewed a best Filmmaker Alex Kinter, who is also Founded @SolarityStudios @SolarityFilms LA | Dallas – Executive Producer & Director… Not only on top of founding Solarity Studios, Solarity Records & Solarity Motion Pictures, Kinter has filmed and photographed a wide range of celebrities like Dirk Nowitski, Val Kilmer, Selena Gomez, Will Ferrell, Stephen King, and Sir Richard Branson. With various projects and clientele bases in Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami and New York City, Kinter has taken lead in commercials, industrial’s, for local, national and international brands.

Tention Free : Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education etc. ??
Alex Kinter :
I studied film photography and digital photography in high school as well as auto cad and web design. Later in my college education i attended Texas A&M University Commerce for Major Art Direction and Minor in Photography. After that i got my RED Digital Cinema Certificate for Digital Imaging and Post-processing.
Tention Free : We been hearing a lot about you, and your work, so we notice you’re starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?
Alex Kinter :
It feels pretty surreal at times with the momentum thats built up and the ongoing possibilities. I’m very honored and privileged to be seeing more and more people notice my work and the work the company has produced.
Tention Free : At what point did you decided to become a director ?
Alex Kinter :
I’ve wanted to be a director since i was a little kid and saw fight club for the first time. It was unlike any other style of film and storytelling that i’ve seen at the time.
Tention Free : As a President of Solarity Studios, What are your future plans ? Your vision for the coming years.
Alex Kinter :
The future plans include more original content production with commercial appeal for companies to have their product live in the content forever and to distribute that content effectively to their target audiences.
Tention Free : If you could make your film anywhere, in the world, where would it have to be?
Alex Kinter :
I’ve always wanted to make a film in new zealand or the himalayas. Somewhere remote with beautiful sights..around the right type of characters and story to be able to utilize those locations of course.
Tention Free : We been hearing a lot about your Solarity Studios. Please tell our readers , what is the studio’s mission?
Alex Kinter :
The studios mission is to create cutting edge content which both advertisers and content consumers alike have a unique connection with. Content they lose track of time watching and can watch time and time again while catching something new they never noticed before.
Tention Free : What motivates you to do your best work as a Filmmaker ?
Alex Kinter :
To be better than i was yesterday and to push my self to create things in a way i haven’t seen them before. I’m really motivated by bruce lee’s approach to film and life.
Tention Free : What are you working on now and where do you feel your film is headed?
Alex Kinter :
I’m working on a texas country music video, a commercial for a hr software company and launching the new Solarity Studios website. I feel my films could be making the festival rounds frequently in the near future.
Tention Free : Your latest & greatest achievement?
Alex Kinter :
Our company just partnered with Lookhu the mobile content streaming app out of Los Angeles.
Tention Free : Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?
Alex Kinter :
Ahh yes that’s true. I like to practice wing chun and tai chi. Laying out and meditating in the sun is quite nice as well. Being able to retreat and going to spend time with my folks out of state i really value.
Tention Free : In today’s film making, how important are motion graphics?
Alex Kinter :
Motion graphics are very important these days as it has bridged the gap between practical effects and full on cgi. The buffer zone into cgi is now occupied by motion graphics. You can really merge images, objects, lights and use layers to make a fairly convincing and acceptable composite shot with changing camera angles in 3d space now.
