Tre Tademy, professionally known as IceTre, has been actively making music since 2005. He has recorded a total of 400+ songs in his total career and counting. As a child, the influence of music was at the center of the household and paramount to his musical development. After years of tedious work, IceTre has become not only a public figure online but also offline. We had a great conversation with Tre Tademy, aka IceTre , enjoy the interview here:
Tention Free : Who are you currently signed too?
I am currently signed and distribute through Blazington Music Group.
Tention Free : Where are you from?
I’m from Pocatello, Idaho. That is my hometown.
Tention Free : Who is your favorite rapper of all time?
The Notorious B.I.G. Hands down.
Tention Free : If you could make music with any artist alive, who would it be?
Hmmmmm. I would say Lil Wayne or Drake.
Tention Free : What projects do you have coming out soon?
I got a list of projects in the works right now including a few with Miscelleaneous and then others with some Dracula Gang members but I can’t talk too much about it. A lot of what happens behind the scenes has to remain a secret.
Tention Free : You have a new single out “60 Hours.” The lyrics are intense and personal. Tell me. Was it hard making the song? What does “60 Hours” mean?
It was actually difficult to make that song just because even though I was somewhat vague in my delivery on the song, I was still reeling in the feelings from the parts that didn’t make it onto the record. How I explain it is that as a child I felt like there was no real concept of time so in one of the lines I say, “60 seconds feels like 60 nights and 60 days plus 60 hours” and it means that a moment before or after the 60 seconds will forever be bridged apart but during the gap, the 60 seconds could feel like 60 hours or feel like an entire lifetime before the change happens. After that minute passes, it feels like a lifetime did as well.
Tention Free : We wanted to say that we like your music videos. They are shot really well. Who is behind the camera?
Oceans The Director is the one who shoots my music videos. He’s the only one whose vision matches with mine. He is a genius at what he does.
Tention Free : We hear that you are doing some out of state shows. Would you ever perform at Rolling Loud or Coachella?
Oh my god yes. Rolling Loud, Coachella, and a few others are on my bucket list.
Tention Free : What are some influences in your life that keep you going?
My mother, my son, and God. Those are my main influences that keep me going.
Tention Free : Well it was great interviewing you Tre! What can we expect from you in the future?
Thank you for having me! As for the future, you can expect more music, more networking, and definitely more building.
