We recently interviewed with Rich Kid of Instagram ” Kyle S. Parsons “. Kyle Parsons is a 21 year old student attending a small private university in the Pacific Northwest. Majoring in Business Marketing, Kyle has hopes of eventually working in the marketing department for a high fashion company. Kyle became interested in modeling during his senior year of high school and has enjoyed doing various shoots and sessions over the past few years. During his free time, Kyle enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and is very active on social media. Follow his adventures on Twitter and Instagram for up-to-date information.

Tention Free : Let’s talk a bit about your work and what is the secret behind your success?

Kyle S. Parsons :

First, I think being consistent with my content on social media is important. If I were posting about everything going on during my daily life, it wouldn’t be as interesting and my audience wouldn’t be as tailored. Second, posting content that gets re-posted by other lifestyle accounts has been essential and has helped in getting my name and brand out there to others that are interested in similar content. Lastly, interacting with others on social media and being open to interviews is helpful and allows for greater exposure. Social media is really the underlying factor and without it, I would not have ever been noticed by producers and writers.

Tention Free : What are your feelings after being featured in the Daily Mail UK, Bild, and a couple other publications in Italy and the US as a”Rich Kid of Instagram?”

Kyle S. Parsons :

It’s been a roller coaster of an experience. At first, when I found out I thought it was really cool. I had never been recognized before on that level and was anxious seeing people following me and talking about me. Then after reading the comments online about me on the various articles, I started to feel bad about myself. People we’re writing some pretty awful things, and even one of the articles called me “lonely.” After a month or so went by, I didn’t really mind anymore. I was debating whether or not I should still post the things that I do, but I ended up deciding not to care how people online perceive me. My friends and family know who I really am as a person, and they are the only opinions that I care about.

Tention Free : What are you working on now as Model?

Kyle S. Parsons :

Currently, I do fine are modeling in Seattle, Washington for different paintings and sculptures. It is a fun environment to work in and I enjoy the artist that I work with.

Tention Free : Who are your inspirations in Modeling?

Kyle S. Parsons :

I am drawn to more avant-garde work; art that is a little more risqué or pushes me out of my comfort zone. I don’t necessarily have one favorite artist that I look to for inspiration, but some artists that I enjoy include Pablo Gargallo, Alexander Archipenko, and Constantin Brâncuși.

Tention Free : What are your plans & hopes for the future in marketing department for a high fashion company?

Kyle S. Parsons :

I hope to gain connections with people that will help me get my foot into the door of a high fashion company. I don’t expect to immediately begin in a high position, but I do plan on working hard so I can become a marketing executive. Fashion is something I have always been interested in, and it would be a dream come true to combine marketing and fashion into a single career.

Tention Free : Tell us about your travel passion & your favorite destinations?

Kyle S. Parsons :

I have been traveling all my life, so it is something that I am use to and have grown up with. From a young age, my family has always taken family vacations to Hawaii, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and others. Thinking back, I can’t remember the last time I have gone a year without traveling to some exotic destination. I have a couple favorite places, and all for different reasons. The first is Denmark, and I like Denmark because it has a very relaxed feel and the people are most always friendly. London is my next favorite destination, and I use to hate London but after going back I have grown to enjoy all the activities that are available. Lastly, the Dominican Republic is my next favorite place because the weather is almost always sunny and the people are very respectful.

Tention Free : Do you set goals for yourself in the fashion field and how do you do that?

Kyle S. Parsons :

My only goal in terms of fashion is to make sure I look good each time I go out. Even if I am not going to a nice event, I make sure to dress up and stand out. I am not one to simply blend into a crowd, and fashion is a great way to express yourself as an individual.

Tention Free : What made you decide to become a Model?

Kyle S. Parsons :

Honestly, I simply wanted to try something new and break out of my comfort zone. I seemed to have gone from 0-100; going straight into doing nude and semi-nude modeling.

Tention Free : What motivates you to do your best work as a blogger?

Kyle S. Parsons :

Being open to anything and honest with yourself is important for the type of blogging that I do. Since my blog allows people to ask me questions, I need to be aware of the fact that some questions might get too personal, but that’s where it’s up to my personal judgment if I answer or not.
