Tention Free : Let’s talk a bit about your work & What motivates you to do your best work as a Music Artist ?
What motivates me to be the best artist possible is the opportunity to impact and influence those who listen to my music. Music, especially hiphop has been such a huge outlet for reaching a large audience since hiphop is shared world wide, i take that opportunity seriously to spread a positive message. My music comes from my poetry and most of my lyrics are written in the form of spoken word poetry. I get inspired by my surroundings and when I write I imagine what people would want to hear in a hiphop song that they haven’t heard yet. I want to be unique and I want to bring back spoken word poetry to hiphop on a mainstream level.
Tention Free : Tell us about your future projects?
As of right now I am working on my Debut Project called “ Unidentified Elements” it will be a mix of spoken word poetry, freestyles ( off the top), and some written work of mine. There will be a lot of Boom-bap, jazz, reggae, and dub influences on the album. My whole intention is to bring back the origins of hiphop and revive the unidentified element of hiphop, poetry.
Tention Free : What age did u start writing?
I started writing poetry since I was 7.
Tention Free : If you could perform anywhere, in the world, where would it have to be?
If I could perform anywhere in the world it would be either Germany, New Zealand or Australia.
Tention Free : what was your favorite show of yourself ?
One of my favorite shows was when I got to perform with my friend and Boston MC Kyle Bent. We had the crowd going crazy that night.
Tention Free : What are you working on now ?
I’m working on this new song called “ Breathe Relax & Meditate” it features Kyle Bent and its going to be an anthem keep your ears and eyes out for that dropping soon.
Tention Free : What other talents do you have ?
Some other talents I have are I am certified in Reiki and Crystal Healing which are forms of Holistic Health and working with energy. I also am a very talented painter and have hopes of starting my own clothing company in the future.
Tention Free : What made you decide to become an Hip Hop Artist ?
What Inspired me to be a hip hop artist was I was always bullied and made fun of in school for my love of hiphop and music in general. Also Artist like Common, Tupac, Notorious BIG, Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang Clan, 9th Wonder, J Dilla, Mac Miller, Logic, and Kendrick Lamar inspired me even more to make my own music and when all I got was positive feedback then I realized that I had the potential to influence and motivate people with my music.
